On Thursday, 20 July 2023, at the Ballroom Hotel Santika Jl. Jati Bengkulu City, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Bengkulu City has launched the Development of an Integrity Zone in the Bengkulu City BPS office environment. The declaration was carried out directly by the Head of Bengkulu City BPS, Ir. Marwansyah, witnessed by the Head of BPS Bengkulu Province along with representatives from the Bengkulu City Government, the Bengkulu City Police, the Bengkulu City State Treasury Service Office, and the Bengkulu City Communication and Information Service. Prior to the declaration, it was preceded by the Declaration of Integrity Zone Commitment Towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) by all BPS Bengkulu City employees.
The Head of BPS City of Bengkulu, at the time of the declaration emphasized that the Development of the Integrity Zone is the commitment of all employees, not just the leaders. In addition, it also requires support from all parties such as local governments, law enforcement officials, and also society in general. The Bengkulu City Government, represented by Community and HR Expert Staff, I Made Ardana, in his remarks congratulated the Bengkulu City BPS staff for planning the development of an integrity zone, and hoped that coordination and collaboration between the Bengkulu City BPS and the Bengkulu City Government could be even closer.
Simultaneously with the launch event, the Bengkulu City BPS also handed over certificates of appreciation to the Bengkulu City Government, the Bengkulu City Police, the 0407 Military District Command, and the Bengkulu City Communications and Information Service for their participation in supporting and succeeding the Public Consultation Forum (FKP) Socio-Economic Registration Results (Regsosek) which was held by the BPS in May 2023.
