Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in September 2022 was recorded at 43.55 percent, an increase of 6.58 points compared to the TPK for star hotels in August 2022 which was recorded at 36.97 percent. When compared to the same month in 2021, the ROR for five-star hotels decreased by 13.03 points.
  • The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at five-star hotels in Bengkulu Province in September 2022 was 1.40 days, down 0.01 points compared to the RLMT in August 2022 which was recorded at 1.41 days. When compared to September 2021, the RLMT for star hotels also decreased by 0.11 points.
  • Of the 10 (ten) provinces on the island of Sumatra, with a TPK for star hotels of 43.55 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks sixth in the TPK in Sumatra. The highest ROR for star hotels is Lampung Province with 55.22 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in September 2022 was Aceh Province, which was 35.22 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in Indonesia in September 2022 reached an average of 50.02 percent. The highest percentage of TPK was recorded in East Kalimantan Province at 60.25 percent, followed by Lampung Province at 55.22 percent and East Java Province at 54.67 percent. Meanwhile, Maluku Province was recorded as the province with the lowest TPK percentage at 32.67 percent, followed by Aceh Province at 35.22 percent, and West Nusa Tenggara Province at 35.23 percent.
