Abstract

• The 2022 HDI increase occurs in all dimensions, both long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.
• 2022 HDI growth has accelerated from the previous year. All dimensions forming the HDI have increased, especially the decent standard of living.
• In the dimensions of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2022 have an expectation of being able to live up to 69.69 years, an increase of 0.27 years compared to those born in the previous year.
• In the knowledge dimension, the expected length of schooling for residents aged 25 and over increased 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 13.67 to 13.68 years, while the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 and over increased 0.04 years, from 8 .87 years to 8.91 years in 2022.
• The dimension of a decent standard of living as measured by the average real expenditure per capita (adjusted) increased by 353 thousand rupiah (3.37 percent) compared to the previous year.
