Abstract

• Total exports of Bengkulu Province in January 2023 reached US$ 6.75 million. This export value decreased by 61.84 percent when compared to December 2022 which was recorded at US$ 17.70 million but increased by 52.72 percent when compared to January 2022 which was recorded at US$ 4.42 million.

• The export value of Bengkulu Province in January 2023 through Pulau Baai Port reached US$ 4.95 million (73.21 percent), through Sungai Musi/Boom Baru Port reached US$ 1.66 million (24.58 percent), through Tanjung Priok port reached US$ 0.14 million (2.13 percent), through Soekarno Hatta it reached US$ 5.07 thousand (0.08 percent), and via Denpasar/Ngurah Rai it reached US$ 77 (0.001%).

• In September 2021 to January 2023, there will be no imports of goods to Bengkulu Province. The highest import value in 2021 occurred in March 2021 which was recorded at US$ 0.44 million, followed by August 2021 with US$ 0.41 million.

• Bengkulu Province's trade balance in January 2023 was a surplus of US$ 6.75 million. Meanwhile, the trade balance in January 2022 experienced a surplus of US$ 4.42 million.
