Abstract

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in February 2023 was recorded at 40.03 percent, an increase of 6.10 points compared to the TPK for star hotels in January 2023 which was recorded at 33.93 percent. When compared to the same month in 2022, the ROR for star hotels increased by 7.21 points.

• The Average Length of Stay of Guests (RLMT) at star hotels in Bengkulu Province in February 2023 was 1.37 days, an increase of 0.10 points compared to RLMT in January 2023 which was recorded at 1.27 days. When compared to February 2022, RLMT for star hotels has increased by 0.04 points.

• Of the 10 (ten) provinces on the island of Sumatra, with an ROR for star hotels of 40.03 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks seventh in the TPK in all of Sumatra. The highest ROR for star hotels is Jambi Province with a magnitude of 53.18 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in February 2023 was in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which was 29.08 percent.

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-class hotels in Indonesia in February 2023 reached 47.83 percent. The highest TPK percentage was recorded in East Kalimantan Province at 60.71 percent, followed by DI Yogyakarta Province at 58.97 percent and Central Sulawesi Province at 55.22 percent. Meanwhile, West Sulawesi Province was recorded as the province with the lowest TPK percentage at 28.25 percent, followed by the Bangka Belitung Islands Province at 29.08 percent, and Maluku Province at 31.09.
