Abstract

Bengkulu Province's total exports in August 2023 will reach US$ 15.13 million. This export value increased by 20.59 percent compared to July 2023 which was recorded at US$ 12.55 million but experienced a decrease of 25.77 percent when compared with August 2022 which was recorded at US$ 20.39 million.
Bengkulu Province's export value in August 2023 via Island Port Baai reached US$ 14.19 million (93.76 percent), via Boom Baru Port (South Sumatra) reaching US$ 0.94 million (6.20 percent), through Soekarno Hatta reaching US$ 5.81 thousand (0.04 percent), and via Denpasar/Ngurah Rai reaching US$ 264 (0.002 percent).
In September 2021 to August 2023, there will be no imports of goods to Bengkulu Province. The highest import value during 2021 occurred in March 2021 which was recorded at US$ 0.44 million, followed by US$ 0.41 million in August 2021.
Bengkulu Province's trade balance in August 2023 has a surplus of US$ 15.13 million. Meanwhile, the trade balance in January - August 2023 experienced surplus of US$ 171.93 million.
