Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
Bengkulu Province's NTP in December 2023 was 158.41 or an increase of 0.63 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.40 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) rose more modestly by 0.77 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Bengkulu Province in December 2023 was 154.84 or an increase of 1.40 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
