Abstract

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in October 2022 was recorded at 49.99 percent, an increase of 6.44 points compared to the TPK for star hotels in September 2022 which was recorded at 43.55 percent. When compared to the same month in 2021, the ROR for star hotels increased by 7.69 points.
• The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at star hotels in Bengkulu Province in October 2022 was 1.24 days, down 0.16 points compared to RLMT in September 2022 which was recorded at 1.40 days. When compared to October 2021, RLMT for star hotels also decreased by 0.10 points.
• Of the 10 (ten) provinces on Sumatra Island, with an ROR for star hotels of 49.99 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks fourth in TPK in Sumatra. The highest ROR for star hotels is Lampung Province with 61.78 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest TPK in Sumatra in October 2022 was in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which was 35.66 percent.
• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-class hotels in Indonesia in October 2022 reached an average of 52.31 percent. The highest TPK percentage was recorded in East Kalimantan Province at 64.20 percent, followed by Lampung Province at 61.78 percent and DI Yogyakarta Province at 61.23 percent. Meanwhile, West Nusa Tenggara Province was recorded as the province with the lowest TPK percentage of 34.70 percent, followed by the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with 35.66 percent, and Maluku Province with 35.89 percent.
