Abstract

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Bengkulu Province in July 2023 was recorded at 53.93 percent, an increase of 6.58 points compared to the TPK for star hotels in June 2023 which was recorded at 47.35 percent. When compared to the same month in 2022, the ROR for star hotels increased by 12.01 points.

• The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) at star hotels in Bengkulu Province in July 2023 was 1.22 days, a decrease of 0.20 points compared to RLMT in June 2023 which was recorded at 1.42 days. When compared to July 2022, RLMT for star hotels decreased by 0.21 points.

• Of the 10 (ten) provinces on the island of Sumatra, with an ROR for star hotels of 53.93 percent, Bengkulu Province ranks fifth in the TPK in Sumatra. The highest ROR for star hotels is Jambi Province with 61.49 percent. While the lowest TPK in Sumatra in July 2023 was Aceh Province, which was 32.79 percent.

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-class hotels in Indonesia in July 2023 reached 54.76 percent. The highest TPK percentage was recorded in Bali Province at 65.65 percent, followed by East Kalimantan Province at 63.15 percent and DI Yogyakarta Province at 62.73 percent. Meanwhile, Papua Province was recorded as the province with the lowest TPK percentage at 31.36 percent, followed by Aceh Province at 32.79 percent, and Gorontalo Province at 35.37.
