Abstract

In Januari 2025, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bengkulu Province was 0.09 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 105.33. y-on-y inflation in Bengkulu City was 0.09 percent with a CPI of 105.38 and y-on-y inflation in Muko Muko was 0.08 percent with a CPI of 105.17.
Y-on-y inflation in Bengkulu Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group price indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.52 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.75 percent; health group by 2.77 percent; transportation group by 1.06 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.60 percent; education group by 1.91 percent; food and beverage supply/restaurant group by 2.47 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.90 percent. While the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 10.04 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.86 percent; the information, communication and financial services group by 0.41 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Januari 2025 Bengkulu Province was 0.59 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Januari 2025 was 0.59 percent.
